We have a Choir Genius update scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 26 after 7:00pm Pacific Time. Because the rollout may take some time to complete, you may not see all of the changes until Thursday.
This update includes several fixes and improvements across payments, calendars, registration, and other areas of Choir Genius.
Payments and invoices

Improved processing for bank-transfer and ACH payments: Payments that complete through Stripe will now update the associated invoice to Paid, even if the person making the payment does not return to Choir Genius afterward.

Sync from Stripe: For invoices showing a Processing status, admins can manually check the payment status using Sync from Stripe. This option appears on the invoice in question at the bottom of the page, under the yellow Administration dropdown. If Stripe confirms that the payment was successful, the invoice will update accordingly.

Improved Stripe payment logging: We have added more detailed Stripe webhook logging to individual invoices. This is primarily an internal troubleshooting improvement, but it will allow our team to more easily identify and diagnose webhook issues when investigating payment problems.

International payment fix: We corrected an issue that could prevent some payments in currencies other than USD from properly updating the invoice after payment.

Multiple registrations in one order: When several people are registered in a single order, each registrant will now appear as a separate line item. Invoice totals and receipts will correctly reflect each registration.

Corrected an issue that could prevent an order from being submitted when no referring person or source was included.
Calendar subscriptions
We have corrected a timezone issue affecting subscribed Choir Genius calendars. This primarily affected users in the Pacific Time Zone and was related to the transition between daylight saving time and standard time.
In some cases, events later in the year could appear one hour off when a member subscribed to their Choir Genius calendar using services such as Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. Events should now continue to display at the correct local time across daylight saving time changes.
This update also includes corrections for all-day and multi-day events.
Registration and checkout

Additional improvements have been made to ensure registration orders and their resulting invoices are calculated and displayed correctly.

Updated French, German, Spanish, Dutch, and Swedish translations across several areas of Choir Genius.

Music exports now include external reference links where available.

Corrected an issue that could prevent an address from being saved when a province/state was entered without a country.
