We’re excited to share another round of fixes and improvements rolling out to your site!
This update will be deployed after 7pm (Pacific) on Tuesday, December 9th. No downtime is expected, but your site may feel briefly slower while system caches refresh.

Import & Export Improvements

• Membership Imports now accept membership records with no end date.
  Note: imports can only create new memberships — existing records cannot be updated.

• Event Imports will now automatically attempt to guess the appropriate date format, making it easier to import:

  • Events

  • Member birthdays

• Example Import Files have been fixed to remove an incorrect extra first row that previously prevented column mapping.

• Account Imports now correctly parse a person’s full name when the “Whole Name” field is used.

• Order Report CSV Export now displays order number and date in separate columns.

• Account Balances Report now includes totals from Failed payments in the amount owing.

• Order Line Item Report now allows sorting by Total and System columns.

Imports are more forgiving and predictable, example files work properly, and financial exports are now clearer and more accurate for reconciliation and reporting.

Profile, Images & Public Site Display

• Profile Pictures now correctly read orientation tags so images no longer upload sideways from mobile devices.

• Public Site Blocks formatting has been fixed to allow:

  • Easier video embed sizing

  • Better content center alignment

• Dashboard Blocks

  • Accidental text overflow fixed

  • Embedded images now auto-resize to fit block dimensions

  • Table display issues corrected

• Appearance Settings

  • Favicon display issue fixed

💬 What this means for you:
Images, videos, and dashboard content now display cleanly across mobile and desktop without awkward cropping, overflow, or rotation issues.

Music, Places & Riser Fixes

• Music Learning Assessment Queues were incorrectly accessible on Conductor sites — access is now properly restricted to Team license and above.

• Members displaying in Places (Risers) issue fixed. The problem was caused by special characters in usernames — special characters are now fully supported.

• Places Voice Part Colour Display issue fixed — all selected colours now display properly.

• Platform Button now only adds one new platform (was occasionally adding two).

• Floor Placement Under Risers issue resolved — users can no longer become stuck if placed on the floor first.

• Places View Toggle Buttons improved for touch screen input.

• Set Lists (Music)

  • Row weights removed

  • Ordering must now be done using drag-and-drop cross-arrows

💬 What this means for you:
Riser placements are now more stable, colour displays are accurate, touch controls behave correctly on tablets, and music set lists are simpler to manage without hidden row weighting.

Member Contacts, Parents & People Search

• Member Contact Report formatting fixed for clearer display of:

  • Names

  • Emails

  • Phone numbers

  • Addresses

  • Parents (if enabled)

• Parent/Child Tab Navigation between pages fixed.

• People Page Search improved to allow partial word subgroup searches.

• Custom Profile Fields

  • Deletion/addition workflow improved

  • Prevents issues when re-adding a recently deleted field

💬 What this means for you:
Your people data is easier to search, parent relationships navigate properly, and reports are cleaner and more usable for admin teams.

Forms, Registration & Documents

• “Form Actions” Tab removed from block pages — now limited to form pages only.

• When a Form Due Date is used:

  • Notifications to fill out the form are suppressed after the due date passes

  • Note: the form itself is not auto-disabled

• Anchor ID Tags are no longer stripped from HTML body text areas (documents).

• Account Registration

  • Required fields now properly display during registration

  • Includes emergency contact fields when enabled

• Use of “/” in vocabulary terms is no longer allowed.

💬 What this means for you:
Forms behave more predictably after due dates, document anchors will stay intact, and required registration fields will consistently appear for new users.

Store, Invoices & Payments

• Ticket PDF Export

  • Can now handle up to 25 tickets per PDF

  • If more than 25 tickets are selected, multiple PDFs will be created automatically

• Offline Payment Wording updated to include the terms E-transfer, Venmo and other non-card methods to help offer more clarity to the options available for offline payment (payment happening outside of your CG site).

• Store Invoices

  • Incorrect total rounding behaviour fixed

  • Stripe slow (ACH) payments sync/update issues resolved

• Checkout Coupon Errors that occasionally appeared during payment have been fixed.

💬 What this means for you:
Large ticket batches export cleanly, offline payment methods are clearly labeled, rounding is accurate, and Stripe ACH payments sync more reliably.

Notifications, Email & Scheduling

• Invoice-to-Pay Notifications now clear from the notification bell immediately after an invoice is marked paid (all payment types).

• Newly Added Blocked Users will no longer receive any login notices.

• Leave Request Response Email Link fixed to direct users to the correct event area.

• Mailgun Endpoint & Suppression Processing issue resolved.

• Large Bulletins sending to large user sets fixed to prevent timeouts

• iCal Calendar Import fixed to properly handle special characters (apostrophes, etc).

💬 What this means for you:
Notifications clear correctly, calendar imports are more reliable, and bulletin emails are more stable for large groups.

Events, Attendance & Volunteers

• Attendance

  • If an event’s invite method is changed from “Must Attend,” any pending leave requests are automatically removed.

• Volunteer Report

  • If a volunteer job’s point value is edited after someone volunteers, the original value is retained

  • A reminder note has been added to the job edit screen

💬 What this means for you:
Attendance logic is more predictable, and volunteer scoring remains historically accurate even after job edits.

Search & UX Enhancements

• Using Quotes in the Search Bar is now supported for exact match searching

  • Note: an issue still exists with quoted searches on the Events table and is under developer review.

• Typo fixed on public store pages related to guest checkout.

• Safari Mobile Header Display fixed for:

  • Notification icon

  • Shopping cart icon

💬 What this means for you:
Searching is more powerful and precise, public checkout text is now clearer for guests, and mobile Safari users will see a properly formatted header.
