The Details

1. Branding Your Ticket Store

You can match the ticket-buying experience to your choir’s existing website by adding your colors and logo! To set this up:

  • Admins can find these settings under Admin Settings & Tools > Appearance.
  • This allows you to choose your choir’s colors and upload your choir’s logo.
  • Note: These settings do not apply for users who are using the Choir Genius Public Site theme.

This ensures a branded and familiar experience for your guests, making it feel like part of your choir's website.

2. No Additional Service Fees

One of the best things about this system is that there are no hidden fees. We won’t take a cut of your ticket sales. However, payment is processed through Stripe, which has its own fees. Don’t worry—our system allows you to pass those fees to your customers. Admins can configure these options under Admin Settings & Tools > Store and commerce settings. You can:

  • Make the fee mandatory for all products.
  • Exclude the fee from all products.
  • Or choose which products the transaction fees apply to.

This gives you flexibility over how you handle transaction fees.

3. A Smooth Guest Checkout Experience

We know not everyone likes creating an account, so we’ve made sure the guest checkout process is quick and easy. Here’s how it works:

  • Guests only need to provide their name and email.
  • A verification process helps keep bots and spam away.
  • If guests return for a second purchase, they can quickly verify themselves again.

To enable guest checkout, admins should ensure it’s turned on under Admin Settings & Tools > Store and commerce settings.

4. Multiple Ticket Pricing Options

You can offer different ticket options to cater to everyone! Whether it’s general admission or a discounted price for seniors or students, you’ve got the flexibility to set ticket pricing. You can also:

  • Offer free tickets by setting the price to zero.
  • Let guests choose their own ticket price by using the checkbox for the product version. You will still need to enter a suggested price, but your guests can adjust it at checkout.

These options allow you to create accessible ticket pricing and ensure everyone can attend your event.

5. Coupons for Discounts and Complimentary Tickets

Want to reward your loyal patrons, donors, or early birds? Our coupon system lets you offer special discounts or even free tickets. To create and manage coupons:

  • Go to Store: Manage coupons.
  • You can limit the number of uses per person or restrict the coupon to specific products. For more detailed instructions, check out the coupons help page.

6. Easy Ticket Check-in on the Big Day

On event day, checking in guests is a breeze! Here’s how:

  • Use our free app to scan tickets at the door  - "Choir Genius", available in the Google Play Store, and Apple App Store.
  • If someone forgets their ticket, don’t worry! You can look them up by name.

With just a quick scan or name lookup, your guests can enjoy the show without any hassle.

7. Will Call Options

If you want to offer a “will call” option for guests to pick up their tickets at the door, it’s simple to set up. You can:

  • Enable this feature under Admin Settings & Tools > Store and commerce settings.
  • To find all will-call tickets and create a filterable report, head to the Ticket Center (Events > Ticket Center) and click on "manage tickets" for the event. Before the show, you can easily print off will-call tickets in PDF format to hand out at the door.

8. Track Your Sales in the Ticket Center

Want to see how your sales are going? Head to the Ticket Center, which can be found under the Events menu item. There, you can:

  • Track how many tickets have been sold.
  • Run reports to see total sales and income for each event.

This tool makes it easy to stay on top of your event’s progress.

9. Send a Thank-You After the Show

After the show, don’t forget to reach out to your attendees! Our system makes it simple to send a thank-you email to everyone who bought a ticket:

  • Go to Communication > Send email to a group, where you can easily email all ticket purchasers. To make sure all ticket purchasers are included in future outreach, use the “label buyer” dropdown when editing the ticket product. This way, all purchasers will receive a label, making it easier to add them to your marketing lists and ensure they’re invited to your next performance.
